JJ Coleman Plumbing Pty Ltd is a professional environmental Plumbing and Industrial Services organisation that provides services to both the public and private sectors. Mr John Coleman set up the business as a single operator plumbing maintenance business in 1992. Completing plumbing maintenance works for maintenance companies including Hatch and Programme Maintenance. In December 1998 the business became a private limited company, from our inception we have established a firm foothold and have continue to grow from strength to strength, expanding our range of services to an increasing number of Government Department contracts.

In 2002, after reviewing the marketplace and current requirements on various plumbing contracts, Mr Coleman identified the need for a service to tackle drainage problems ranging from small 10mm pipe to a large 2m diameter culvert. Through the investment in qualified staff and specialised machinery, a new Industrial Services division was created in JJ Coleman Plumbing providing our plumbing contracts/clients with a service which conventional plumbing contractors avoid or source to outside subcontractors. Identifying and rectifying our customer's needs has led the company to expand its fleet of purpose built vehicles. Using the latest techniques and up to date technology JJ Coleman Plumbing have built up a reputation for reliability and high quality workmanship. A sister company to JJ Coleman Plumbing was hence formed in 2004, trading as AP Drain Inspections. This company only carry's out industrial services: Hydro Jetting, Vacuum Loading, Emergency spills, CCTV, NDD, for major utility providers, facilities management companies, local authorities and the construction industry.

The office and factory premises of JJ Coleman Plumbing is located at Unit 1, 89 Gow Street Padstow, this is the main terminal for all communications. The premises are equipped with all the latest telecommunication channels allowing efficient communication for our clients to register jobs, receive updates etc. The main database at JJ Coleman Plumbing provides clients with access to register jobs, receive updates on jobs, and review status of asset maintenance programs directly through the internet.

JJ Coleman Plumbing has maintained certified management systems since 2002. In 2007, our documented systems and procedures received triple certification to the internationally recognised standards: ISO 9001: 2000 for Quality, NZS 4801:2001 for OHS and ISO 14001:2004 for Environmental Management Systems. On completion of the company's external audit in February 2009, JJ Coleman Plumbing achieved further certification to the latest Quality Management System standard: ISO 9001:2008. In 2009 JJ Coleman Plumbing also received the OHS Award from the Master Plumbers Apprentices Association. The organisation realises that, to keep the system to a high level of compliance, it will require maintaining a stable, committed and well- trained workforce. Management ensures all personnel are trained to the highest industry standards.
